itinerary

Day 1

We will collect you from your hotel or the International airport and transfer you to the domestic , Wilson airport for your 09.15am flight [ subject to schedule changes]. You will be brought to the airport at least 1 hour prior to the flight. Board your flight to Nanyuki Airstrip, a small town near Mount Kenya and close to Ol Pejeta Sanctuary – flying time approx 45 mins -1 hour:

The camp is an acclaimed, luxury property which offers beautiful views of the conservancy and features a nearby watering hole for wildlife.

Check into your luxury tents and enjoy some leisure time before a delicious buffet lunch in the camp’s restaurant. In case you want to enjoy a brief siesta, now is the time ! Mid afternoon , approx 3.30pm, you embark on a two to three hour Safari Game drive during which you explore the surrounding parts of the famous Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which at at the forefront of wildlife conservation in East Africa. The conservancy has seen much success and is a great place to spot everything from the Big Cats to Rhino, Elephant and much more. However Ol Pejeta is famous for being one of the few places in East Africa to have a Chimpanzee Sanctuary – in fact we rate it as the best place in Kenya to see the delightful and cheeky chimps in their natural habitat.

Return to the camp by evening [ typically 6pm] in time for dinner.

Overnight stay at Sweetwaters Tented Camp:

Samburu is what you might call a ruggedly beautiful reserve, set in semi-arid but colorful landscapes, complete with ever green shrubs, trees and often bright blue skies.
