Foxes Safari Camp - Mikumi, Tanzania

Foxes Safari Camp is a small camp pitched on a hill overlooking the Mkata flood plain and the distant Mwanambogo water hole. It is attractively set on a granite outcrop which makes it a good wildlife-viewing area in Mikumi’s far north.

The Safari Camp only has 8 large, thatched custom built tents. The tents all have two double beds and are ensuite. Each tent is hidden amongst the granite
boulders and the main dining boma and bar area is on the kopje-top.

The Camp has 8 en suite tents spaced out around the sides of the hill, all raised on platforms with private verandahs. The tents are basic but functional and afford
good views over the plains.

The facilities available include, the central dining area which is perched atop the hill
and camp fires are lit in the evenings to admire the night skies.

All tents have mosquito nets, ensuite bathroom facilities with a private verandah built
on a slope with a panoramic view of plains and hill sides.

Meal arrangements include choice of full English or Continental breakfast; lunch is a
cold buffet with dessert. Guests close the day with a three course dinner
with vegetable option together with tea and coffee.

This camp offers a bush experience. Being 14 km from the main road traffic noise is not a problem like at some of the other camps in Mikumi and game viewing is of a high standard.

Rates are per standard room in US Dollars per night [ Including Breakfast and Dinner ]
