Kirurumu Tented Lodge is set high on the edge of the Great Rift Valley, enjoying a marvellous, uplifting and panoramic view eastward over Lake Manyara. Behind Kirurumu, the Ngorongoro Highlands rise in green and fertile splendour and form the gateway to Ngorongoro Crater and, finally, Olduvai Gorge, the Serengeti. The lodge is easily accessible as it is only 15 minutes flight from lake Manyara Airstrip and two and a half hours from Arusha.

Adequate accommodation is available for the guests as there are 22 tented rooms, with en suite bathrooms with cold and hot water running. There is also a bar complete with sun-deck and panoramic views of the Rift Valley. Elegant cuisine is served at the dining room with the help of a waiter. Day treks/hikes, Masai guided ethno-botanical walk, fly camping in forests on request and mountain biking available in the adjacent hotel are some of the activities offered to lodge guests.
