Situated
on the southern shores of Lake Naivasha, second largest of the only two
fresh water lakes in Kenya's Great Rift Valley, Naivasha Sopa Lodge is
an impressive property with a dramatic backdrop.
The lake is a stage for
some magnificent storms and was named Nai Pasha(rough water) by the Masai
tribes. An ornithologists paradise, the lake is home to 400 species of
wonderful birdlife and an abudance of fish and water life. |

The surrounding
landscape is host to a variety of game including giraffe, buffalo, the
elusive black faced colobus monkey and, in the lake itself to many hippo
that can also be seen grazing within the lodge grounds.
