Naru Moru River Lodge is the world-famous base for climbing Mount Kenya. It is situated on the equator between Nyeri and Nanyuki at an altitude of 1,982
metres (6,505 feet) in the Mount Kenya foothills and only two hours drive
from Nairobi on an excellent tarmac road.

The lodge is set in lush tropical gardens through which the Naro Moru River flows.

Guests may enjoy superb full board or self-service accommodation alongside the
river banks which are recognised as the finest ornithological site in Kenya.

Recreational facilities include a heated deck-level swimming pool which faces
Mt. Kenya, tennis courts, a squash court & sauna, as well as horseback
riding on beautiful nature trails along the river banks.

The lodge offers cuisine to suit every palate with special attention paid to the
needs of climbers.
