The
Norfolk Hotel is one of the worlds most romantic hotels. Older than the London
Ritz, younger than the Savoy, no other hotel in Kenya has as rich a history as
it. When it first opened on Christmas day, 1904, The Norfolk was to spearhead traditions of hospitality
in East Africa which are still unmatched today. Norfolk has impressed generation
after generation of visitors with its unfailing hight standards of service, luxurious
style, hospitality and comfort. Many of the bedrooms overlook the hotel's famous
courtyards where colourful flowering trees and shrubs give a friendly "home-away-from-home"
ambiance. The Norfolk Hotel boasts 167 bedrooms and suites, all of which have

new executive and deluxe suites in the Acacia Wing are furnished to an exceptionally
luxurious standrd. These rooms also lend themselves to private dining or small
meetings. The banqueting and conference facilities of the Norfolk Hotel comprise
numerous air-conditioned function rooms situated throughout the hotel. The Ballroom,
which can be partitioned to form two smaller rooms, has a seating capacity of
175 people. There's a heated swimming pool adjacent to the Kijabe Gardens has
a resturant and a bar. For the keep-fit enthusiasts and leisure lovers, theres
a fully equipped gym, saunas, steam and changing rooms.

swimming pool has three levels, flowing from the hotel to the
