Sabuk Lodge [ Laikipia Area ]

Sabuk Lodge is found in the northern part of Laikipia district, and offers an experience in the wilderness. The lodge provides stunning views of Ewaso Nyiro river as it overlooks it, provides adequate accommodation for the guests who visit the area as it has six en-suite cottages, with all of them having open areas that give guests an excellent view of the river and the cliffs. Visitors get to the lodge by taking an air Kenya flight from Wilson airport to Nanyuki, from where Sabuk is just 30 minutes flight using a private charter.

Each cottage is uniquely designed utilising materials found in the area, thus giving the camp its originality.The lodge is also equipped with en-suite bathrooms, modern flush toilets and other facilities to ensure that guests enjoy maximum comfort while on visit to the place. Guests engage in walks along the river, accompanied by the local Laikipiak Maasai guides, who pass on their knowledge and traditional uses of the flora in the area. A variety of activities are offered to the guests who come to the lodge among them being game drives in four-wheel drive vehicles, night game drives, swimming, river line fishing, camel assisted walking safaris, bush breakfasts, sundowners among other host of activities.
