Located
on the banks of the Jongomero River ( seasonal ) in the remote South Western part
of Ruaha National Park, Jongomero Camp comprises of 8 large luxurious tents on
raised wooden platforms offering double, twin and single accommodation.
The public area including bar and restaurant, is beautifully
located in the deep shade of an ancient riverine tree with
an uninterrupted view
of the Jongomero River and bush beyond.
The camp lies on the sand river of Jongomero and in Ruaha National Park. It’s the only furthest camp in the place. To the sand river, its (away from the cunfluence) it’s a
short distance. With the great Ruaha river and from Msembe headquarters, its
almost 70 km. The camp has its own airstrip, its 15-minute flight and further.
Jongomero Safari Camp is definitely for those looking for privacy and luxury in Ruaha.
The small camp has only 8 tents with each set under a thatched shady banda. Its beautiful and large with enough room to swing.
The tents are of quality, with a
mosquito net window, as well as normal canvas doors.
While inside, you can have clear views of the surrounding outside while in your bed and completely cool inside.
