The lodge has only 10 rooms, giving it an intimate atmosphere, with tentative and personalised service. The spacious rooms all have ensuite bathrooms with showers and toilets.
Lake Eyasi is just 1.5 kilometers from the lodge. It is a seasonal salt water lake
that almost completely dries up in the dry season. It is the home of the Hadzabe tribe, that are comprised of a few hundred people only. They live a
nomadic hunting and gathering life.

Activities that the traveller can engage in while in this lodge include, bird watching: the wetlands of Lake Eyasi are famous for the vast amount of bird species, it’s a
birdwatchers paradise. Have a guided walk through the area with a specialized bird watching guide.
A walk to the lake is also a very nice thing to do, have a sundowner and think back
of the old days of early mankind.
Lastly, the area is famous for it’s agriculture and especially for the special way of
growing onions. While visiting this lodge one can have the opportunity to see how the people from Eyasi live in the village and work on
the irrigated onion fields.
