Vuma Hills Tented Camp - Mikumi, Tanzania

	Vuma Hills Tented Camp is perched up in the hills overlooking the plains and represents the most luxurious choice of accommodation in Mikumi. The 16 luxury tents all have a double and single bed, good bathroom, private veranda and each is tastefully decorated in colonial style. The public areas are set around the small swimming pool and with views over the Mkata river flood plains.

The large dining pavilion is adjacent to a small swimming pool and there is an outdoor
bar where fires are lit in the evenings. Game drives are conducted in Mikumi National
Park and day visits to the nearby Udzungwa Mountains can be organised
in advance.

Each tent features an en-suite bathroom. Electricity is supplied by generator which
runs from 10am to 2pm and again from 6:30pm to 11pm.

Game activities at Vuma concentrate mainly on open-topped 4x4 game drives however
it is possible, dependent on season, to take a walking safari to the source of the
Kikoboga river, or daily guided wildlife excursions and culture tours
to the nearby villages.
