8 day Great Rift Valley Honeymoon Safari
Overview: This is safari honeymoon exhibits the diversity of Kenya -from Masai Mara to off circuit [untouristy] Lake Baringo- accommodation is in small, luxurious and unique lodges and camps. The trip keeps a leisurely pace and includes flights to and from Masai Mara.

Day 1 - Arrive
at JKIA. Meet, assist and briefing by our driver guide and transfer to Hotel Intercontinental
for overnight stay. You will be taken for a city tour of Nairobi which includes
visit to the Nairobi Museum, Karen Blixen Museum and various other landmarks of
Kenya. Overnight at Hotel Intercontinental. |

| Day 2 - Breakfast served in Bed at a time of your choice. Rest of the morning
at leisure. Complimentary lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant after which,
at 2pm, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your short 1 hour flight
to Masai Mara, the premier wildlife reserve in Kenya. On arrival you will taken
for a gamedrive in this magnificent reserve. Return in the evening and check in
to Mara Serena Lodge ( B, L, D ) |
| | Day 3 -Gamedrive in the morning followed by breakfast. Animals are at thier
most active in the early hours of the morning. Rest of the morning at leisure.
After lunch, you have your afternoon gamedrive, this time exploring a different
part of the reserve. Overnight at Mara Intrepids Camp. Gamedrive in the morning followed
by breakfast and morning at leisure. After lunch, you have your evening gamedrive
this time exploring a different part of the reserve. Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge. ( B, L, D ) |
| Day 4 - After breakfast,
depart for a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird and rhino sanctuary,
and home to a variety of wildlife. The lake, which is a World Heritage Site, is
famous for its vast numbers of pink flamingoes. Arrive in time for lunch at your
lodge. A late afternoon gamedrive will allow you to see the many wild animals
in the park. You will also be taken to a cliff view point overlooking the lake.

| Day 5 - Full day
at Lake Nakuru National Park with morning and afternoon gamedrives. Dinner and
overnight at Lion Hill Camp. ( B, L, D ) |
| Day 6 - After early
morning gamedrive and breakfast, depart for Lake Baringo, known for its remote
and quiet location in the heart of the Rift Valley. The lake is surrounded by
rugged landscape and is home to over 400 species of birds. Arrive at the lake
after which you will enjoy a 20 minute boat ride across to the island where the
camp is situated. Lunch followed by afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight
at Island Camp. ( B, L, D ) |

| Day 7 - Full day at Island
Camp. A one hour boat ride with an expert local guide will enable you to see some
of the resident wildlife. You will also visit a Njemps village and get to experience
the way of life of this fishing tribe. Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon
at leisure. The camp has one of the most scenically located swimming pools in
Africa. A second afternoon boat trip. Dinner will be served under the often star
lit sky by the pool. Overnight at Island Camp. ( B, L, D ) |

| Day 8 -After breakfast, depart for Nairobi. You will break your journey at Lake Elementaita to visit a community conservation project. [Optional at no extra cost]. On arrival in Nairobi, you will be transfered to the airport for your international flight home. In case of a late flight, you will not have to wait at the airport but can visit a shopping mall or spend time at the hotel. ( B ) |
