East Africa especially Kenya is a hugely rewarding place to travel, thanks to pristine natural surroundings, amazing wildlife and spectacular landscapes. When on a Safari in Kenya, depending on your itinerary, you may see everything from snow capped mountains to forests and white tropical beaches, all in a day's travel- it really is this diverse. And lets not forget to mention the Wildebeest Migration from Serengeti National Park into Masai Mara which is a world famous attraction for wildlife and nature lovers. This is not to say that you can only see Kenya's animals and wildlife only in Masai Mara, as you may see Kenya Animals such as Lion, Leopard, rhino, Elephant and Cheetah in several other parks of Kenya that have a rich diversity of wildlife.
A Kenya safari holiday is like an expedition, exciting and adventurous but requiring careful thought and planning, which is what we, as a locally based Safari company handle for you. However you must plan for a leisurely pace of travel to truly enjoy your tour - so whether you have 3 days or 30, make sure you do not plan for too much in your safari holiday.
Most of your African safari in Kenya will be in the bush, but this does not mean "roughing it". You can have all the luxury you want ! East Africa is home to many internationally reputed hotels & lodges, with well appointed rooms, some with stunning views, excellent cuisine and deluxe facilities such as bars, swimming pools, boutique shops and in some cases even state of the art Spas.
For those wanting to avoid long road transfers between safari locations in Kenya, you have the option of flying between most national parks and reserves during your luxury Kenyan Safari and infact most travel destinations are within 1 to 2 hours from Nairobi, often cutting out 4-5 hours of road travel. Masai Mara is for example only a one hour flight from Nairobi's Wilson airport with twice daily flights landing at various airstrips in the reserve. Do refer to our Safari planner while planning your trip to Kenya. For those traveling to Tanzania as per their own itinerary, click here for Tanzania safari packages so that you can visit places such as Serengeti and Ngorongoro at your own pace.
